{"id":571,"date":"2018-02-10T22:38:41","date_gmt":"2018-02-11T03:38:41","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.k2dls.net\/blog\/?p=571"},"modified":"2020-07-22T09:02:15","modified_gmt":"2020-07-22T14:02:15","slug":"ham-radio-deluxe-roadmap","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.k2ie.net\/blog\/2018\/02\/10\/ham-radio-deluxe-roadmap\/","title":{"rendered":"Ham Radio Deluxe Roadmap"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>I had the opportunity to catch up with Mike Carper, WA9PIE, at the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.hamcation.com\">Orlando Hamcation<\/a> today.\u00a0 Mike is one of the two current owners of <a href=\"http:\/\/www.hamradiodeluxe.com\">Ham Radio Deluxe<\/a>, the incredibly popular software used by radio amateurs to control their radios and handle logging and other tasks.\u00a0 HRD Software LLC went through some <a href=\"https:\/\/regmedia.co.uk\/2017\/01\/03\/hrdpressreleaseyearend2016.pdf\">rough times<\/a> in 2016, but Mike reports that 2017 was a great year under reconstituted management.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_573\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-573\" style=\"width: 270px\" class=\"wp-caption alignright\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-573\" src=\"http:\/\/www.k2dls.net\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/02\/wa9pie.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"270\" height=\"200\" \/><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-573\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Mike Carper, WA9PIE, owner of HRD Software LLC<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>In 2017, Roger Hardin joined the company as a full-time software developer.
